Tsering Tashi is an Investment Banking Analyst in Houlihan Lokey’s San Francisco office, where he focuses primarily on corporate financial advisory services for technology companies. He is most passionate about improving welfare through business and entrepreneurship. Tsering is a first-generation Tibetan-American and attended Phillips Exeter Academy and Occidental College with a degree in Economics.
What three words would you use to describe yourself?
Loyal, Reliable, and Strong-willed.
What is a fun fact about you most people don't know?
My childhood dream was to be a Pilot!
What is your favorite quote?
"Cometh the hour, cometh the man."
What motivates you to be successful/achieve?
My premier motivation are my parents and family - I strive to make their lives easier.
If you could offer one piece of advice to Tibetan students in their college application process, what would it be?
When selecting a college or university to attend, you should select the college based on whether you see yourself being happy at the college instead of choosing based on prestige.
If you could offer one piece of advice to Tibetan students entering the college experience, what would it be?
If your college or university allows you to study abroad, you should take advantage of that opportunity!
